The Virtus Pro roster of Always, dan, JoyStiCK, p4sh4 and ShepparD is one of the oldest and most experienced Rainbow Six Siege Esports rosters in the world. It is comprised of multiple Major Champions, top 4 Six Invitational placements and the core of the roster has been together since 2018 but is it time for a change?
After a good Stage 1 2025 where they finished 4th in European MENA League and competed at Esports World Cup where they got a top 8 placing. The Russian team now seems to be showing some fatigue. Through the first 6 playdays of Stage 2 2025 Virtus Pro currently sit in last place in European MENA League. They are known for there slow, predictable and coordinated playstyle but in todays fast paced, shield focused and lurky meta they are having major struggles. While in previous years finishing last for a stage wouldn’t be the end of the world, the new ecosystem has reintroduced relegation back into the regional leagues. Virtus Pro currently sit just 1 point above the bottom 2 relegation spots and are clinging on for dear life. With 3 games remaining in the stage and all of them being against strong looking teams in Secret, Fnatic and GenG. Virtus Pro are in serious risk of facing relegation which could lead to some major moves happening within one of the most experienced and accomplished rosters this game has ever seen.
