M80 Are BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025 Champions

With a 3-1 win over Team Falcons in the Grand Final, M80 are the BLAST R6 Major Munich Champions!

This Major Championship is North America’s second in as many years with the last coming in Manchester 2024 with the same core roster of Hotancold, dfuzr, Gunnar and Gaveni. They become the first North American players in R6 Esports history to win two majors.

For Kyno, this is his first Major win in his long career (debuted in Stage 1 of 2021). He is the only player still remaining from the original M80 roster and this stage he showed why. Although Kyno has face heavy criticism in the last few years for some poor performances, in Stage 2 of 2025 he proved everyone wrong. M80 finished first in the North America League Stage 2 2025 and Kyno was MVP. They went into the Munich Major as North America’s top seed and didn’t disappoint. M80 went undefeated through the Swiss stage and completed a lower bracket run through the playoffs to win it all.

When this core won the Manchester Major back in 2024 most people thought it was a “fluke” or a “miracle run”. But now after winning the Munich Major they have ended that narrative. M80 beat the worlds best throughout their whole run from G2, FaZe and Secret in Swiss, to Secret, Wildcard, FaZe and Falcons in Playoffs. There is no doubt that M80 are North America’s finest and among the top teams in the world today.

This Major Championship is not only a milestone one for the players, but for M80’s new coach as well. Fabian has now won both a Major and Six Invitational as a Player and also as a Coach. He is without a doubt the most accomplished figure in Rainbow Six Esports history and continues to display his talent and winning ability wherever he goes.
